Underground Condos

Many people believed in the story of the rapture in the year 2011, but the world didn’t come to an end as per the fears associated with that apocalyptic event. A luxury condo community, Survival Condo Project, located near Concordia, Kansas, is closely linked to that fear. This building is designing 174 feet under the ground, and the developers believe that this structure is designed to handle anything, even a nuclear bomb attack as well.

To buy one condo in this large, 2,000 square foot underground space, you may have to spend between $1.5 to $3 million.

A 45-year-old nightclub owner, Tyler Allen, recently told the Wall Street Journal that he invested in a condo in this building just because of the growing fear related to terror attacks, cataclysmic weather, and global health pandemics.

It is important to mention that the developers have designed and sold out one such survival condo complex earlier. These condos are developed at former nuclear missile sites as developers promise that these structures can withstand the impact of nuclear bombs.

Hall and his team state that the residents at Survival Condo Project can enjoy a life loaded with uninterrupted luxury. These bunkers include all essential facilities, including a gym, dog park, spa, and medical services.

The developers believe that as current lifestyle is greatly affected by changing economic conditions, disastrous evidence, and global climatic changes. Therefore, it is better investing on well-planned structures that can provide shelters in the hours of an emergency. The proposed developments include psychological design considerations, physical protection, and advanced technology integrations so that residents can enjoy complete peace of mind during their stay.

The condo entrance is finished with two doors that are 16,000 pounds each. The condo goes almost 174 feet below the ground.

The full-floor units are designed with 1,820 square feet offering a maximum occupancy range of 10 people. On the other side, the half-floor units are finished with 900 square feet dimensions while offering occupancy of 5 people in the available space. Note that all fully furnished units in this structure are designed with full kitchen arrangements, including stainless steel appliances, 50-inch television, washer, dryer, Kohler fixtures, and food reserved for five years per person.

The main reason behind the higher price of these condos is the availability of luxurious amenities. When you enter 174 feet below the ground, you will find many sources of entertainment, including outdoor scenes painted on the walls and community pool arrangements. The gym and rock-climbing wall are also available to stay active underground. Moreover, there is a movie theatre for full entertainment.

All units have video screens installed on the wall that works like windows, and the residents are allowed to set up the scene they would like to watch outside. All kitchens in this building are loaded with top-notch appliances. You will also find a walk-in closet within the master bedroom.

So, what are you waiting for – get your gopher on today!
